You know what’s really grinding my gears lately?
Advent calendars.
Not the cute little chocolate ones that no doubt Ivy will be massively excited for come December…
But it seems like every company has now realized they can get consumers to spend $150 on mini samples of their product if they market them as an “advent calendar”…
I’ve seen makeup brands and skincare companies do it…
The coffee roaster I use even has one…
But I buy my beans in 2lb bags… I DON’T NEED 24 TINY SACHETS
What a waste for everyone involved… mindless consumerism at it’s finest.
My other gripe is… I’ve been seeing these ads since early September.
And there's nothing that says "summer's over" faster than Christmas stuff.
The Christmas thing gets me because of what it does to people’s brains…
See, most people have a tendency to “take it easy” at the end of the year…
The days are getting shorter... the weather is getting colder...
Which sends people into a state of both physical and mental hibernation.
They start to say things like “next year I’ll... fill-in-the-blank.”
Meaning they delay their dreams to a far away future.
This year's not over though...
Today is October 10th… it’s a significant day.
Why?
It’s not a holiday. It’s not a significant "date."
But it signals that there are 83 days left in this year. That's almost 1/4 of the year still remaining.
So what do you want to accomplish?
What’s a goal you want to hit by the end of the year?
You have 83 days to hit it!
That’s waaaay more time than most people realize...
You could lose that 20lbs you've been talking about losing.
You could meet the person of your dreams.
Or you could take full control of your financial future and start building a steady side income.
So what’s your goal in the next 83 days? Don’t wait till 2027.
Set a goal now.
And if you goal involves creating a reliable stream of second income… tomorrow I’ll be opening up Options Cashflow Accelerator for one final time this year…
